To qualify for Active Membership in CREW Houston, with full voting rights and the right to hold an office/leadership position, an individual must:

 

Available to those with a minimum of two years experience in a capacity as described above for Active Membership and shall have the same membership privileges except for voting rights or the right to hold office or leadership role.

Membership is by invitation only, and guests may attend only two meetings in a calendar year.

 

An Applicant must have current active involvement, and have been actively involved for a period of at least five years, in a commercial real estate field as identified by the disciplines listed on this application. "Current direct involvement" means that such person (a) is currently working in and is actively engaged either exclusively or primarily in commercial real estate and derives at least seventy-five percent (75%) of their gross volume of business from commercial real estate matters, and (b)(i) is involved in promoting and contributing to the financial well-being of a company, (ii) is in a managerial, senior level, professional, or revenue-generating position or capacity within the company, (iii) is in a decision-making position, or (iv) otherwise participates at a professional level in a qualified field of commercial real estate. Persons in those categories of employment which are not eligible for membership in CREW are individuals who serve in an administrative assistant/secretarial position or are primarily in the business of the sale or leasing of personal property.
